| Assembly: | Ceramic and carbon parts must meet to create a spring loaded seal. We suggest that you use a small amount of silicone to fix the metal base against the plastic housing. The rubber washer make the other parts water tight against the plastic housing. |

This is the replacement seal kit for the grey wet end HA440.It can still be used with the Black headed older HA440 pump you just need to remove the o'ring and use silicone instead. Please be aware that when attempting to remove the black wet end, if it looks fairly rusted through you will most likely not be able to remove the impeller in 1 piece.
