Common names for Air Blowers include Hot Tub Blower, Spa Blower, Air Pump, Spa Bubbler and more. There are different brands including Genesis, Ultra 9000, Comet 2000, Max Air, CG Air, LX and more.
We like to simplify this by telling you that they all work in the same principle, unlike Hot Tub Pumps you need to be a bit more accurate with sizes. All Spa Blowers have a motor inside that draws in the ambient air from around the Hot Tub Air Blower and then forces the air into the Air Manifold which in turn feeds the Air Injector Jets. The Air Blower will either come with a heated mesh to take the chill off the air as it enters the Spa or the Blower will just blow cool air. There are lots of different horse power ratings available but for most Hot Tubs in this country the Spa Air Blower will be between 1 and 2 horse power, the most common size for an Air Pump Blower is usually 1.5HP. This information can usually be found on the information label on the side of the unit.
Did you know that the Comet 2000, Ultra 9000 and then the Max Air are all made by the same company "Air Supply of the Future"? the only reason why their are 3 different models is because one has superseded the other in design starting with the oldest which was the Comet 2000 Air Blower.
There are other Blowers that we do not stock in circulation like CG Air and LX but they can easily be replaced with our Ultra 9000 range as they are the most versatile Spa Blowers we sell. As long as you can alter the connection to suit your Hot Tub then you can use which ever Blower you like.
Variable speed Hot Tub Blowers are always controlled by the Hot Tub Circuit Board by using a variable voltage output.
